We like to keep it simple; the following points cover our general T&Cs. By ordering products on this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions:

You can order products displayed on this website using the secure shopping cart provided. Once you have placed an order, we will send you an e-mail confirming that we have received your order. The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order.

To make a purchase at TheBig3 you are required to become a registered user. When registering you must provide a valid and operational email address, home address and telephone number where you can be contacted so we can keep you informed about the status of your order.

You must be at least 18 years of age in order to make a purchase on our site

 

PROTECTING OUR CUSTOMERS AGAINST FRAUD

To protect our customers from credit or debit card fraud our company reserve the right to cancel an order where;

  • the customer uses a credit or debit card which is issued by a card provider based in a country other than the delivery address provided by the customer
  • the customer doesn’t provide the additional information
  • the customer pays for a high-value transaction using an unverified account
  • any of the contact details the customer provides during the registration process turn out to be false
  • a mail server returns any confirmation email the message we send to you. In all such cases, we will refund full Malaysia Ringgit (MYR) amount paid.

PRICING

The price of individual products can change on the site without notice, however, the price of the item displayed once you reach the checkout is the price you will be charged. You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically, as part of the delivery cart, before you submit your credit or debit card details

  • all transactions carried out through the website are made in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR)

GENERAL

  • You authorize us to use, store, share & process information in order to provide a service to you; this information may be utilized to send you invoices and other communications (*we don’t hold financially sensitive information like credit card/bank accounts on our servers).
  • All bookings and/or reservations are subject to availability.
  • Splitting of bills is not allowed unless stated otherwise.
  • In addition to these Terms & Conditions offer specific conditions listed (in case of any conflicting terms, the company’s decision is considered final)

The sale of alcohol to individuals below the age of 21 years old or professing the religion of Islam is strictly prohibited. The Big 3 Grocery has provided below a non-exhaustive guideline on prohibited and restricted items that are not allowed for sale on The Big 3. The Big 3 will update this guideline from time to time where necessary. Please visit this page regularly for updates.

 

1. VIOLATION OF OUR TERMS OF SERVICE

 

Violations of this Prohibited and Restricted Items Policy may subject the Seller to a range of adverse actions, including but not limited to any or all of the following:

 

– Listing deletion

 

– Limits placed on Account privileges

 

– Account suspension and termination

 

– Legal actions

 

2. LIST OF PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS

 

(i) Animal and wildlife products (including, without limitation, wild animals);

 

(ii) Artifacts and antiquities;

 

(iii) Used cosmetics;

 

(iv) Counterfeit currency and stamps;

 

(v) Credit and debit cards;

 

(vi) Currency or credits including, without limitation, digital currency or credits, and stored value cards;

(viii) Telecommunication equipment that has not been registered with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), and electronic surveillance equipment and other similar electronic equipment such as cable TV, de-scramblers, radar scanners, traffic signal control devices, wiretapping devices and telephone bugging devices;

 

(ix) Embargoed goods;

 

(x) Firearms, weapons such as pepper spray, replicas, and stun guns, etc.;

 

(xi) Alcohol (a valid license must be submitted to, and approved by, The Big 3);

 

(xii) Prohibited Food: For the safety of our Users, Sellers may not list the following food and food-related items on our Site:

 

a. Listings containing medicinal claims – that is, a claim that the item is intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in humans and/or animals, contraception, inducing anesthesia or otherwise preventing or interfering with the normal operation of a physiological function, whether permanently or temporarily, and whether by way of terminating, reducing or postponing, or increasing or accelerating, the operation of that function or in any other way (for example, pharmaceutical drugs, contact lenses, misbranded dietary supplements);

b. Noxious food items – Food that contains any prohibited substances or substances in excess of permitted proportions, adulterated food without fully informing the Buyer at the time of sale of the nature of the transaction;

c. Non-pasteurised dairy products;

d. Wild mushrooms; and

e. Any other food items hazardous to human health.

 

(xi) Food not falling into the Prohibited Food category above must adhere to these minimum standards and guidelines:

 

a. Expiration dates – all food items must be clearly and properly labelled with an expiration or “use by” date. Expired food items must not be listed.

b. Sealed containers – all food and related products sold on the Site should be packaged or sealed to ensure that Buyer can identify evidence of tampering or defect; and

c. Perishable food items – Sellers who list perishable items should clearly identify in the item description the steps that they will take to ensure that the goods are properly packaged.

 

(xiii) Government or Police related items such as badges, insignia or uniforms

 

(xiv) Human parts or remains

 

(xv) Lock-picking devices

 

(xvi) Lottery tickets

 

(xvii) Pesticides

 

(xviii) Potentially infringing items: Items including but not limited to replicas, counterfeit items, and unauthorized copies of aproduct or item which may be in violation of certain copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.

(xix) Services: Unless expressly allowed by The Big 3, the provision of services, including but not limited to services that are sexual, illegal in nature or in violation of the Terms of Service are prohibited on Shopee’s platform.

 

(xx) Slot machines

 

(xxi) Recalled items

 

(xxii) Shares, stock, other securities, and stamps

 

(xxiii) Tobacco or tobacco-related products, including without limitation electric cigarettes/e-juices that contain nicotine;

 

(xxiv) Obscene, seditious, or treasonous materials

 

(xxv) Products that (a) relate to campaigns, elections, political issues, or issues of public debate, (b) advocate for or against, or attack a politician or political party, or (c) promote or encourage any form of hate, crime, prejudice, rebellion, or violence;

 

(xxvi) Publications, books, films, videos, and/or video games that do not comply with applicable laws in the country of sale and/or delivery

 

(xxvii) Stolen goods

 

(xxviii) Mislabelled goods

 

(xxix) Any other items that are or that contain components that are (i) illegal or restricted in the jurisdiction of the Buyer and/or the Seller or which otherwise encourage illegal or restricted activities, or (ii) determined by any governmental or regulatory authority to pose potential health or safety risk.
